With the 3m Cubitron II 982C fibre disc, you grind away heavy welds, mill scale, and surface imperfections on carbon steel quickly and efficiently. Featuring self-sharpening triangular ceramic grains in grit 36+, the disc cuts aggressively into the metal while requiring significantly less downward pressure, reducing operator fatigue during demanding grinding and beveling tasks. The tough vulcanized fiber backing delivers high tear resistance and reliable stability under heavy pressure. Sized at 114.3 mm with a 22.23 mm center hole, this disc mounts easily onto a matching backing pad on your angle grinder for long-lasting stock removal performance.
